Who we are

This family owned business was founded by Karl Schultz in Santa Ana, California, in 1939. Les and Kellee Lotz [daughter of Karl Schultz] are now proprietors of Natural Piano Center, Inc. The store is now located at 3710 Mitchell Dr. Fort Collins, CO. 80525 (right next to Palmer Flowers).

Our philosophy

To offer Northern Colorado the kind of full-line piano store one might expect to find in a much larger city, in terms of selection and price, but with a very personalized service oriented approach. We offer one of the largest selections of acoustic pianos and digital pianos in all of Colorado. We make every attempt to match the right instrument to the needs and wishes of the consumer and offer affordable payment plans.

Why should you shop with Natural Piano?

content!--> This privately owned store works hard to prove it isn’t necessary to go to the big city for the best price and best selection.

Because we’re smaller, we try harder to help you choose just the right piano for your needs. Since we are not part of a chain and are privately owned our lower overhead expenses allows us to operate more efficiently and pass on the savings to our customers.

We have been in business in Colorado for over forty-five years and have established ourselves as Northern Colorado's premiere piano gallery. We offer Yamaha, Petrof, and Pearl River in addition to many other variety of manufacturers in our used piano department.

We also offer piano lessons for both children and adults including two keyboard classes. For those interested in trying before buying, we offer an eight week introductory piano course including the FREE use of a piano in your home. You will also find a nice supply of printed music and method music for your playing pleasure or lesson needs.

Whether you're ready to invest in a piano now or just starting to look at what's out there we invite you to come visit us soon. Bring the kids--we have videos and books to keep them entertained while you shop at your leisure. We'll have the coffee pot on and look forward to your visit!

We also have a commitment to the community.
Our commitment to higher education as been recognized by both Colorado State University and The University of Northern Colorado schools of music. We provide over $300,000 of pianos each year to these schools of music. This commitment provides each university with new pianos each year.
